While Battersea Park Millennium Arena is getting resurfaced, coach Urban took a well deserved rest and took the opportunity to revise his training programme for the 2013 season.
In preparation for the early spring season, new coached sessions will resume in January. The sessions are targeted at performance minded endurance athletes willing to work together with an experienced UKA endurance coach in order to maximise their full athletic potential.
Our training base remains at the Millennium Arena, though likely we will opt for one of the less busy track nights (Monday or Wednesday).
I would like to emphasise that I am particular interested to hear from athletes training outside any club environment (e.g. at University level) and from those being part of a small running club, which don’t offer any performance training and coaching. Note, RunUrban and Coach Urban is neither tied to a specific running club and you don’t have to be part of a running club if you want to train with the group. At RunUrban we have an athlete-centric approach and our aim is to provide the best London-based endurance setup and we welcome hard training endurance athletes from all London running clubs.
Please get in touch with Coach Urban (info@runurban.com) and join the mailing list if you would like to be part of the coaching setup and being coached. Alternatively like the RunUrban Facebook page or follow us on Twitter @RunUrban.
